It's now one of the leading jazz festivals in the country, beginning in 1996 and growing ever since. It takes place over 7 days and features over 50 acts. More at the festival's website 04 02 08 Great news on the festival front - Blue Soup has two festival dates confirmed - the Twinz'ARts Festival in Paris on May 9th and the North Devon Festival in Barnstaple on June 12th. The Twinz'ARts Festival is organised by the Eufro Association and held in Clichy, Paris annually. Artists of all disciplines (music, dance, theatre, circus, video, photography etc) from Clichy's twinned boroughs across Europe are invited to collaborate in pairs for a performance on Europe day (May 9th). The twins include Sankt Pölten in Austria, Santo Tirso in Portugal, Southwark in London, Heidenheim in Germany and Rubi in Spain. The North Devon Festival is celebrating its tenth year this year, with over 200 events in June. 12 01 08 A Happy New Year to you all - After a short break for various members of Blue Soup to moonlight on stage and screen, the band is back with plenty of London gigs lined up for 2008 and the likelihood of some international dates in May. With several new tracks already established as favourites in the live set and several more nearing completion, a new album is planned for the summer.
